Testimonials
I am and have always been interested in art, especially ceramics. The trip had me constantly interested. What was cool about this trip was that I was shown that I could actually go places with art. I thought it was extremely hard to be successful but it is truly a passion of mine and I plan on going to art school for ceramics and glass. There were so many techniques which the artists’ used from, wood kilns to blowing up a piece of clay. The trip actually helped me on my next project where I used glass to melt in to a “pond” in my fantasy landscape.

Elephant’s Eye Studio Tour

Celebrating the Artistic Community of Bucks County, Come See Where Creativity Begins!

For two weekends in May, some of Bucks County’s finest contemporary artists will participate in the Elephant’s Eye Studio Tour. They will open their private studios to the public to give art lovers an inside peek into their worlds.

Whether you are a long time collector or a student anxious to gain access to real artists working in their own spaces, the tour is a perfect opportunity for you to visit the studios of nationally and internationally acclaimed sculptors, potters, wood turners, photographers and more.

Many studios will also feature visiting artists. The artists you’ll meet along the way will be available to engage in conversation about the making of their art and share their experience. Talk to them about their creative process, their work life and work environment. Many studios will also be offering free demonstrations. Artists largely work in isolation, so if you’re an art lover, take advantage of this rare opportunity to engage with these creative people. Art work on display will be for sale.

With studios located in some of Bucks County’s most inspiring locations, this free, self-paced tour is the perfect way to spend a leisurely day or even an entire weekend this coming Spring. No reservations required…. just come and enjoy!

You can download a printer friendly map and brochure of studio locations by clicking here.
