I felt very lucky to attend the field trip to the various ceramics studios of Bucks County. Each individual artist had something unique that set their work apart form one another. I personally enjoyed Steven Tobin’s studio the most. His explanation of how physics connected to his artwork opened my eyes to the individual meaning behind each piece of work. I felt very enlightened when learning about the different techniques of firing and glazing that the other artists used.
