Last Year, Dianne Marcus and Laura Davis of Core Clay in Cincinati traveled to Philadelphia for the Hand Building conference set up by Sandi Pierantozzi.

They saw terrific ideas and techniques and plan to bring several of those presenters to Cincinnati's Core Clay for workshops in the next couple of years. The first workshop they have scheduled will be run by Elephant's Eye founder Lisa Naples.

Philadelphia Magazine has issued their 2010 picks for the “Best of Philly” and Bucks County Sculptor Lisa Naples was awarded "Best Gallery Artist." The magazine says that the “Best of Philly” recipients are “the movers, shakers, winners, players and ideas that made our year.”
