First of all I would like to thank you for creating the Elephants Eye Tour. It was very eye opening and enjoyable. I think that my favorite aspect of being on the tour was to see the different styles of artists and how they worked. Chris Bonner’s wood kiln was very interesting. I was amazed at how much wood it takes to fire the kiln and how long the kiln takes to fire. I loved Steve Tobin’s studio. It was absolutely amazing. He has so much talent, and many different ways of displaying his unique talent. I also thought the fact that Ken Vavrek created and built his out kiln was really interesting. He also talked to us about how he mixed glazes and how his pieces are hung on a wall. I loved how you have one inspiration, and how you can create so many different things around your inspiration. Thank you again for that opportunity. Please consider holding this tour again. I would love to go on this field trip again.
